A Lifetime of Adventure, From Our Family to Yours

Hi, I’m Adrienne, a Colorado native with a lifelong passion for the active, outdoor lifestyle that only this state can provide.

For nearly 50 years, I have found my greatest joy under the open sky, and "The Outdoor Type" is my way of inviting you into that adventure. Whether you are here for the serenity of the pines or the thrill of the mountains, I am excited to help you discover your own outdoor type at our family-owned properties.

My roots in each of these locations run deep, beginning as a young girl at Eagle Rock in Florissant where my grandparents first established our family's connection to the Colorado wilderness. This spot has seen generations of first camping experiences and created lasting memories, and it is an honor to now share that same space with you. From the shores of DeWeese Reservoir to the secluded groves of Como, each location is a piece of my family’s history that has been carefully prepared for your own getaway.

Nature has always been my sanctuary, providing peace and solitude through the warmth of the sun and the sound of rustling aspen leaves. What started as a private retreat for family and friends has grown into a mission to provide high-quality, accessible outdoor spaces when they are needed most. No matter which of our locations you choose, I invite you to unplug, feel alive, and make our home away from home your own.
